Missouri Treasurer Clint Zweifel's campaign to return property to its rightful owner is breaking records.
Zweifel's office has returned nearly $40 million in fiscal year 2013. Compare that to around $38 million last year. Zweifel says there is still room for improvement in the program. There is still over $230 million in unclaimed property for the St. Louis region.

Troubled homeowners could be getting some help as soon as next week.
Borrowers who are at least 90 days behind on their mortgage and have loans backed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will start receiving offers from lenders to lower payments. This is part of an effort called the "Streamlined Modification Initiative". The exact number of homeowners who will receive offers is not known.
A couple of other restrictions on eligible loans; owners cannot be more than 24 months behind and the loan has to be at least a year old.
The Saint Louis Art Museum is going to remain closed for the rest of the day due to a power outage.
The outage started just before 9 AM. Just a few visitors were in the museum when the power went out. It is not known what caused the outage. The museum is set to open tomorrow at 10 AM.
