Police release photo of gas station robbery suspect
Police are asking for help to find the suspects who robbed a Cahokia gas station overnight.
The Midwest Petroleum convenience store was robbed around 2:30 AM. Three suspects smashed the front windows of the store. The suspects drove off in a blue Chevy truck with an American flag rear window cover. Police say there is damage to the right rear corner of the truck.

Meth lab blamed on fire, injuries to suspect
FARMINGTON, Mo. (AP) - A 22-year-old Farmington, Missouri man is badly burned, and may face criminal charges, after a fire at his apartment was blamed on a methamphetamine lab.
The Daily Journal reports that the fire broke out last week in Farmington. A man in the apartment suffered serious burns to his face and arms.
Witnesses contacted police early Wednesday after seeing burning clothes on the sidewalk and a nude man running from the scene. The man was not found immediately but was eventually tracked down in St. Louis, where he sought treatment at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Inside the burned apartment, police found equipment that appeared to be remnants of a meth lab.
Police are planning to charge the man with first-degree arson.
Cook attacked outside Shiloh, IL restaurant; suspect caught
A restaurant cook was attacked and robbed overnight in Shiloh, IL. Authorities say a suspect is in custody.
According to police, the worker was finishing his shift at the 54th Street Grill in the Green Mount Crossing Shopping Center off I-64. Shiloh police rushed to the scene just after 1:00 a.m. Monday after the employee reported being grabbed from behind and robbed while he was waiting for a ride outside the restaurant.
The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department, Shiloh police and Illinois State Police set up a perimeter and used search dogs to track down the suspect.
The suspect was captured by police and taken into custody. Charges could be filed later Monday. The employee suffered a minor injury and was treated and released by EMS workers.
Conflicting reports on progress in Boston Bombing case
BOSTON -- ABC News -- Authorities are close to identifying a suspect in the deadly Boston Marathon bombing, an official in Boston told ABC News.
ABC News' Boston affiliate, WCVB, reported a source had said a suspect has already been identified and an arrest is imminent. Surveillance video taken from cameras at a Lord & Taylor along the marathon route helped identify the suspect, WCVB said.
A pair of blasts erupted Monday afternoon near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three people and injuring more than 170 others.
Authorities said they have been analyzing thousands of photos of the event and tracking down as many leads since the bombing. Tuesday ABC News reported part of a pressure cooker bomb had been recovered from the scene with wires, shrapnel and a circuit board. That evidence has been sent to the FBI lap in Quantico, Virginia for analysis, officials said.
St. Peters Police need help to find sexual assault suspect
A woman told police she was attacked around 10PM last Saturday night outside Mr. Lucky's Restaurant in St. Peters. KSDK reports the suspect was kicked out of the restaurant for lewd behavior and then assaulted the woman in the parking lot.
The suspect is described as a middle-aged Hispanic man, 5'6" tall with a stocky build and a goatee. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the St. Peters Police Department at 636-278-2222.

Police responded to a blast on Tesson Ferry in Sappington Wednesday night after people reported damaged. The suspect allegedly placed the explosive device outside of an Avon store, then walked into a nearby bar.
Police say the man resisted arrest, but was taken into custody. No motive has been announced.
Police search for suspect in possible abduction
Normandy Police, which patrols Cool Valley, report that the suspect ran out of the Schnucks Supermarket on South Florissant Tuesday evening. The man got into the passenger side of a late-model, red, Ford Expedition, which drove away.
Police aren't sure if the woman driving was a getaway driver or a hostage.

Police continue search for bank robbery suspect
Police say the suspect robbed a Commerce Bank Thursday afternoon around two in the afternoon and got away with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a black male standing 6'0" tall with a slender build. He appears to be between 30 and 40-years-old with a dark complexion.

Springfield, MO handcuffed man who fled patrol car still missing
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - Law enforcement officers are looking for a Springfield man who managed to escape a patrol car while in handcuffs.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 31-year-old Nicholas Ray Gamblin fled last Wednesday. He was in the patrol car after being taken into custody for allegedly stealing a truck and gathering chemicals to make methamphetamine.
Patrol spokesman Sgt. Jason Pace says the officer double locked the handcuffs behind Gamblin's back and put him in the front seat of the patrol car.
Gamblin fled when the trooper began searching the pickup truck.
The Springfield News-Leader reports an in-car camera showed the man turned around in the seat, opened the door behind his back and ran from the vehicle.
Police ask for help to ID bank robbery suspect
Police say the suspect never showed a weapon during the attempted robbery and ran away before getting any cash. The suspect is described as a black male, about 40 years old and around six feet tall.
CrimeStoppers is offering a 1,000 dollar reward for information that leads to an arrest.
