Despite opening three westbound lanes on the Blanchette Bridge earlier today, MODOT wants to remind drivers that work continues on the bridge complex.

Some median work as well as painting of the overhead trusses is still to be completed. Tonight, the two left lanes of westbound I-70 will be closed and there will be lane closures eastbound as well.

If you are planning to go to St. Charles for the Festival of The Little Hills this weekend, MODOT encourages using 370 and 364 as alternate routes.

The new Saint Louis University law school at the corner of Tucker and Chestnut is officially open after a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday morning. Mayor Slay and Father Biondi were among the dignitaries on hand. The building, originally constructed in 1964, underwent a total renovation, as the outside was fitted with a shiny glass skin that runs up and down the middle and across the top of the building. The law school also features a new rooftop pavilion and patio, all for the cost of $32 million dollars.

The Cardinals are expected to add 2011 first round pick, Kolten Wong, to the roster in time for today's game in Chicago against the Cubs. Wong hit.303 with 10 hime runs and 45 RBIs in 107 games with Triple-A Memphis this season.  The Cardinals optioned outfielder Adron Chambers last night to make room for Wong on the roster.  Speculation is that Matt Carpenter could move to third base while Wong starts at second.  David Freese was replaced in the seventh inning of yesterday's win against Pittsburgh.
