Police in Centerville say three men were injured after being shot outside the Ernest Smith Housing Complex this morning. Detectives received a call just before 3 o'clock reporting shots fired. The men were allegedly involved in a dice game earlier in the night when a fight broke out. About an hour-and-a-half after the fight, at least one suspect returned to settle the score. Police say it is unclear how many suspects were involved. The injuries are not considered life threatening.

Services for 7 year old Willow Long will be held in her hometown  of Watson, Illinois on Monday. The funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church.  A visitation is scheduled to take place Saturday at the Hearts Rock Cafe in Effingham High School from 5 to 9 p.m.  Willow's uncle, 22 year old Justin DeRyke, was charged Wednesday with first-degree murder. Prosecutors say he told investigators he killed his niece to end her suffering after she accidentally fell onto a brush pile and pierced her neck with a stick. DeRyke is being held on $5 million bond and hiring an attorney. He's set to appear again in court next Thursday.
