Closures will affect ramps from Interstate 70 and 64-40 to the Poplar Street Bridge, but before and after the Cardinals and Rams games there will be lanes open. Farther west, there will be a complete closure of westbound I-64 at the Boone Bridge on Saturday and Sunday. There will be no westbound access to St. Charles County using that route. Drivers will have to use the alternative river crossings at I-70, Route 364 or Route 370 to travel westbound into St. Charles.
A number of residential break-ins in St. Louis County has police urging residents to be vigilant. Authorities are searching for suspects accused of breaking into several homes in south county near the intersection of Interstates 55 and 270. The suspects reportedly go door-to-door asking residents if they need yard work done. They then break-in if no one is home. In one recent case, however, two men kicked in the back door of a home thinking no one was there. The female homeowner was inside and hid until they left. Police say the thieves seem most interested in electronics.
