A third woman has come forward with accusations that a St. Louis County nurse's aide sexually assaulted her.
Patients at two separate nursing homes had already accused Walter Martinez of fondling them while he was bathing them. The first two alleged victims were residents at Chesterfield facilities. The third victim says Martinez raped her while she was at a nursing home in St. Louis County.
Martinez confessed to abusing two of the women to Odyssey Hospice, his then-employer. Police say he was a licensed social worker when the alleged abuse happened.
Martinez has been charged with two counts of deviate sexual assault, one count of forcible rape and another count of forcible sodomy.
The St. Louis County Police Department is asking anyone who needs to report an offense against Martinez to call them at 314-889-2341 or to call their local police department.
