Two O'Fallon, Missouri men face murder charges for their role in a fatal hit-and-run.
Prosecutors say Kevin Labraido Jr and Robert Bathe were involved in a busted drug deal that led to the accident in St. Charles County yesterday. The Police report says the two were trying to buy drugs from someone at the home to Tyler Pinner.
When Bathe and Labraido refused to pay for the drugs, Pinner tried to stop their vehicle. Pinner was dragged a short distance and then run over. Both men are charged with second-degree murder.

Police say a man was shot several times when he went to answer a knock on the back door of his apartment. 35-year-old Mark Wells lived in the apartment at Samual Shepard and Leffingwell--several blocks northeast of Harris-Stowe University--with some of his kids. When he went to answer the door, police believe several suspects shot through the door and killed him.
Two of his boys were asleep upstairs when the shooting occurred. Evidence points towards multiple guns being used.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — A St. Louis man has been sentenced to life in prison plus 120 years for a deadly apartment shooting.
St. Louis Circuit Judge Michael David sentenced 36-year-old Donnell Rivers Friday for first-degree murder, first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
The Post-Dispatch reports that Rivers fired into the apartment multiple times in December 2010, killing 26-year-old Cynthia Williams. None of the other three people in the apartment were hurt.
A statement from Williams' mother was read during the hearing. The statement said that Rivers "should never be allowed to hurt anyone else." An assistant circuit attorney also said that Rivers had been placed on parole four months before the shooting.
Police are asking for help finding the car used by suspects in a fatal shooting on Tuesday.
Police say the suspect exited a dark green Audi A-6 near a North St. Louis halfway house, produced an assault rifle, and shot a victim in another car several times. The car is a dark green, 4-door, Audi A6 with heavily tinted windows. It has a .S. Government license plate #G122335K that was stolen from St. Louis City.

A car wash is set for this weekend that will benefit the family of a slain Kirkwood teen.
Brandon Richards was murdered earlier this month. Two other teens, 19-year-old Nicholas Luncerford and 18-year-old Keenan Miller, were charged with his murder.

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (AP) - Police have charged Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez with murder and weapons counts in connection with the slaying of a semi-pro football player whose body was found in an industrial park about a mile from Hernandez's home.
The charge was revealed Wednesday in Attleboro District Court after Hernandez was arrested at his sprawling North Attleborough home. Less than two hours after his arrest, the Patriots cut Hernandez from the team.
The investigation started more than a week ago after semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd was found slain in an industrial park in North Attleborough, on the Rhode Island line not far from where the Patriots play.
Lloyd's family says he and Hernandez were friends and that Lloyd's girlfriend and Hernandez's fiancee are sisters.
19-year-old Nicholas Lunceford is in custody connected to the murder a murder in the Village of Marlborough.
Police believe that Lunceford shot and killed 18-year-old Brandon Richards. Richards was found dead in his home on Monday afternoon. Charges could be filed later this afternoon.
Kirkwood police are looking for a 19 year old man wanted for murder. Police say Nicholas Lunceford shot an 18 year old man about 4:30 Monday afternoon at a home on Pleasant Court.
Police say Lunceford should be considered armed and dangerous.

Crews are exhuming the body of a young girl was was found decapitated 30 years ago.
The girl was never identified and goes by Jane Doe, as well as Hope. She was found in a vacant building in 1983, with her hands tied behind her back. Hope was buried in the Washington Park Cemetery in Berkeley, but is has become run down.
They are moving her body to the “Garden of Innocents” in Calvary Cemetery on West Florissant Rd. in north St. Louis.

A Granite City man faces charges for allegedly stabbing his estranged wife to death.
The Police report says that Marissa Stainback was walking with a male friend yesterday afternoon when Tyrone Stainback approached her and stabbed her. Marissa was rushed to the hospital, but the Madison County Coroner confirmed she died from several stab wounds.
Tyrone is being held on no bond and faces 1st degree murder charges.
