St. Louis, MO (KTRS) - St. Louis Homicide detectives are on the scene of a shooting in North St. Louis.
Police say 16-year-old Noah Barnes was shot several times and was pronounced dead at the scene. Neighbors in the 1900 block of Clara say they heard five to six shots and then saw a person laying face down in the street.
Police have not released any information on suspects.
St. Louis, MO (KTRS) - Police say that a St. Louis County man was smoking pot when his son accidentally shot his younger brother.
Larry Madison now faces charges of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child and marijuana possession. Investigators say Madison left a loaded shotgun within easy reaching distance of his two sons, who are 3 and 4 years old. Police say he was smoking marijuana in another room when the 4-year-old picked up the shotgun and shot his 3-year-old brother. The younger boy was taken to the hospital after being grazed by a bullet.
Police say the children’s mother was also home at the time.
ROLLA, Mo. (AP) — A U.S. Army sergeant killed in last week's shooting in Fort Hood, Texas, has been buried in the Missouri town where he went to high school and met his wife.
Sergeant Timothy Owens was originally from Effingham, Illinois. He was one of three soldiers killed April 2nd when a gunman fired on the military base. Sixteen others were wounded.
Saturday's funeral was in Rolla (RAH'-lah) where Owens lived in the 1990s.
The Rolla Daily News reported that as many as 75 motorcyclists from the Rolla Patriot Guard Riders accompanied the casket before the service at Rolla's First Baptist Church and afterward, to Lake Springs Cemetery in rural Dent County.
As the casket left the church, Patriot Guard Riders, law enforcement officers and residents lined the sidewalk outside and saluted.
Police aren't releasing many details about a man found shot to death in north St. Louis Sunday afternoon.
Homicide Detectives were called to the 8900 block of Riverview Boulevard after a man was found dead in a car. Police say the man had been shot multiple times, but haven't identified the victim.

St. Louis, MO (KTRS) - Police have identified the child who was shot and killed in his home Wednesday night.
11-year-old Anotonio Johnson was sitting at his computer when a shooter fired between eight and ten shots into the house. Police Chief Sam Dotson says Antonio died at the scene. Dotson says the gunman climbed onto the ledge of a side window, broke the glass and started shooting.
There were seven people in the house including a 4 year old, two teenagers, three adults and the 11-year-old victim. One of the teens had been shot in a prior incident and police are hoping he can provide some useful information about last night's attack.
St. Louis, MO (KTRS) - The suspect in a north county bank robbery is in the hospital in critical condition after police say he shot himself in the head.
The incident started shortly after 10 AM when the suspect robbed a US Bank on Lindbergh. Florissant Police spotted the suspect's vehicle shortly after the robbery and started to chase the vehicle. Near I-270 and Lindbergh the suspect crashed into a concrete guardrail. Officers said that as they approached the car, they heard a gunshot.
They found the suspect with a gunshot to the head. No one at the bank was hurt. The suspect's name has not been released.
EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (AP) — An East St. Louis man is jailed on $1 million bond after being accused in a shooting death last month.
The Belleville News-Democrat reports that St. Clair County prosecutors charged 20-year-old Montrell Spencer this week with first-degree murder.
Authorities say 49-year-old Leon Lucas Junior of East St. Louis was killed February 22nd during an altercation.
Spencer was arrested Monday by officers who responded to a home in connection with a reported domestic dispute. Police say that after being arrested on suspicion of domestic battery, investigators learned he was suspected in Lucas' death.
Online court records don't show whether he has an attorney. He has an unlisted home telephone number.
St. Louis, MO (KTRS) - University City Police are looking for a man connected to a fatal shooting Wednesday morning.
Investigators say that around 8:35 Joseph Price shot two women inside a home near Fogerty Park in University City. Both women were taken to the hospital, where one of them died. Police are asking the public for help finding Price. He is described as a black male, just over 5 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. Price is known to drive a 1984 blue Chevrolet pick-up truck with Missouri license plate O-F-T-1-9-7. Police say Price should be considered armed and dangerous.
