Legends Country Club in Eureka to close, according to STL Biz Journal
The St. Louis Business Journal reports the Legends Country Club in Eureka is closing. Options to sell the Eureka club for $1.7 million or go semi-private already had been exhausted.
The paper spoke with Legends owner, Patricia Natoli, who inherited the club from her late father, Carmelo. She tells the Business Journal the family had already eliminated initiation fees, slashed dues and offered a summer special last year to drum up seasonal membership at the club which apparently consistently operated at a loss.
