Nearly two weeks after a jewelry store burglary, police are still looking for the suspects.
On the evening of December 20 and employee at Mississippi Mud Gallery and Gifts in Imperial, MO noticed a rear window had been opened. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department says the thief made off with tens of thousands of dollars in jewelry.

The St. Louis Police Department is hoping video from a red light camera can help ID a man seen leaving the scene of a shooting and car accident.
Just after 6:45 PM Sunday, a driver at the intersection of Delmar and Skinker was shot several times. The shooting caused him to crash his car. In the video, the passenger of that car can be seen running away. Police say he stole a car in the area and drove off. Officers found a gun and drugs in the vehicle.

A man is in custody connected to the murder of St. Louis woman whose body was found in the trunk of her car.
The St. Louis Police say they were called to tow a car on December 20. In the trunk of the car they found the body of Sybil Brandon. Investigators say she had been shot in the head. Brandon had been reported missing on November 29 by her daughter.
The suspect has not been identified, but he is a 39-year-old man.
ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) — A suburban St. Louis woman will spend two days in jail for accidentally dragging her pit bull down Interstate 70.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 34-year-old Amy Taylor of Bridgeton was sentenced to the shock time in jail on Friday and ordered to pay veterinary bills for the 2-year-old dog, Coco. She pleaded guilty Monday to one count of misdemeanor animal abuse.
The dog was dragged for about a mile on May 22nd in St. Charles County. Authorities say Taylor put the dog in an unsecured kennel in the back of her pickup and failed to remove his leash. Somehow the dog got out of the kennel but the leash hung up on the tailgate.
Coco was badly hurt but survived.
