Free flu vaccines begin this weekend

This weekend may be the perfect time to get your flu shot.  Barnes Jewish Hospital is hosting several free flu vaccine clinics over the next month  beginning tomorrow.  Adult and pediatric vaccine will be available tomorrow in North County at the Shalom Church City of Peace Health Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Two more clinics are scheduled for Sunday. One will be held at Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, Medical Office Building 2.  The other on Sunday is at Christ the King Church on Old Halls Ferry. Both clinics will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  It is recommended that anyone over 6-months-old get a flu vaccine. All vaccines are free of latex and preservatives. No pre-registration is required. All doses will be administered on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. A link to the BJC schedule for the free vaccines can be found here
