There could be delays on a stretch of Highway 40 starting this weekend.
MoDOT crews plan a lane shift this weekend near Kingshighway. The workers will also be closing one or two lanes between 6 AM and 3 PM on Satuday between Tower Grove and Kingshighway. After the lanes reopen, westbound lanes will split around the workzone.
Any westbound drivers looking to exit at Kingshighway will have to use the right two lanes, the left lane will have no access to the exit ramp.
All three westbound through lanes will remain open weekdays from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. At least one westbound lane will remain open evenings and weekends, MoDOT says.
