Memorial Day at Jefferson Barracks

Monday, 27 May 2013 09:55 Published in Local News

St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley has expressed support for handing over Sylvan Springs Park to the federal government as part of an expansion. The addition would add about 70 acres to the existing cemetery.

But the Senate's top Republican says nothing is wrong with giving state departments some flexibility because the Legislature only meets for five months every year.
