Police searching for Vianney High burglar

Kirkwood Police are asking for the public's help to catch a burglar who broke into Vianney High School early Sunday morning.  Police say a man used a BB or pellet gun to break a door window to get inside about 2 a.m.

Police say he pulled on a mask after getting inside and tried to enter several classrooms.  But he was caught on camera, both inside and outside the building.

Police say the suspect approached and left the school on foot via Maryhurst Drive.

He's described as a white male, 18-25 years old, wearing a blue T-shirt with chest emblem, two tone knit hat, blue jeans, and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Tim Brand at 314-984-6903 or the Kirkwood Police Department at 314-822-5858.

Police in the City of St. Louis are asking for the public's help to find two men who held a waitress at gunpoint while robbing a diner earlier this month.

It happened at the Eat-Rite Diner on Chouteau on early on August 12th.  Police say the suspects had been playing pinball inside the restaurant when they asked the waitress for change for a dollar. When she gave them the change, one of them pulled a handgun and pointed it at her, demanding the money in the register. She complied and the suspects took the money and fled in a white Buick Regal or Century with a missing hubcap.

A surveillance image of the suspects can be seen on our website, KTRS.com.

Anyone with information is urged to call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477).

Police are hoping store surveillance images can help catch a pair of thieves who targeted an elderly woman at a St. Charles Walmart.

Police say a woman posed as a personal shopper, telling the victim that she worked for the store.  She helped the woman with her purchases, and offered to help her load groceries into her car.  While loading groceries, the woman reportedly took the victim's wallet from her purse, then got into a car being driven by a male accomplice.

The victim lost several hundred dollars in cash.

Anyone with information is asked call St. Charles Police at (636) 949-3344.
